Bishop's Outdoor Living is operated by Mad Dog's Ski & Sports Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We operate showrooms in Abbotsford and Burnaby, British Columbia, and this website. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account to view pricing or manage orders, we collect your name and email address.
• Chat widget messages. If you use the chat widget on this site to send us a message, we collect the details you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and message. Booking forms also collect your name, contact details, product interest, selected visit time, and your contact and privacy choices.
• Order information. If you place an order through your account, we collect the order details, delivery address, and related communications.
• Usage information. With your site analytics consent, Google Analytics receives information about page visits and actions. Our hosting provider processes technical request information to deliver and protect the website.

How we use your information

• To respond to quote requests, booking requests, and other inquiries.
• To create and manage your account, and to process and fulfill orders.
• To follow up about a request you've made, by phone, text, or email.
• To understand how visitors use this site, so we can improve it.
• To meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that help us run our business - our customer relationship management system (for tracking quote and service requests), our website hosting provider, our video hosting provider, and our authentication provider (for account sign-in).
• Google Analytics, for site usage statistics when you accept site analytics.
• Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you accept advertising measurement. We may share ad-click and browser identifiers, booking and purchase events, actual purchase value, and securely hashed email addresses or phone numbers to match a booking or sale to an advertisement. Hashing helps protect these details but does not make them anonymous. These providers may process information outside Canada.
• FinanceIt, only if you choose to apply for financing through our site - your application details go directly to FinanceIt, not to us.
• Law enforcement or regulators, if we are legally required to.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you separately opt in to text messages through a booking form or chat widget, Bishop's Outdoor Living may text you for the purposes shown next to that choice. The expo reminder choice is for event reminders and does not enroll you in general promotional text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in to your account, remember your session, and operate requested features. Optional site analytics and advertising measurement have separate choices. Ad-click identifiers and campaign information are retained in your browser for up to 90 days only after the relevant choice. You can change or withdraw these choices using the “Privacy choices” button on any page. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking; it does not undo data already sent. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, though account features may stop working.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active, and quote/contact form submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Your choices

• You can update your name and email, or delete your account entirely, from your account settings.
• You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• You can opt out of marketing follow-up at any time by asking us to stop.
• You can decline analytics and advertising measurement and still make a booking.
